Youth & Young Adult Online Ethics Conference Set for March
Washington, DC, December 29 2006 - The World
Youth & Young Adult Online Ethics Symposium is set to frame the future development of character and ethics in the 21st
Century. The online event takes place throughout the month of March 2007.
Young people from around the world are
invited to define and frame the expected morality of their generation and those to come. The agenda is jam packed with what
they will, and will not accept. Their goal is what adults the world over have failed to do -- hammer out and enforce a universal
code of ethics adaptable to all nations, cultures, and religions.
The youthful Symposium is the first international
online gathering to promote or bring youth and young adults together to decide their own future ethos. The event is hosted
by CEFE--The Center for Ethics in Free Enterprise, a non-profit division of the Washington DC based Global Academy Online,
Inc.
CEFE’s research suggest that few, if any, education systems in the world, including those in the USA,
have taken seriously the role of our youth and young adults to explore borderless opportunities to create and suggest a universal
Ethos. The United Nations has failed completely to frame an effective code for itself or its members. “The UN is suffering
from an exposed moral bankruptcy that permeates throughout the entire organization according to its own studies”, notes
Fred DiUlus, founder of CEFE. “Whatever direction it may attempt to give to anyone, including member nations and their
citizens is, and will continue to be, suspect.”
